The Parker Foundation for Health & Happiness is pleased to announce that its annual golf outing held on September 18, 2017, raised $14,000. This entire amount was donated to the Double H Hole in the Woods Ranch, a Serious Fun Camp.
This donation brings PFHH’s annual donation amount to $28,000 to Double H Ranch.
Double H provides specialized programs and year-round support for children and their families dealing with life-threatening illnesses. Its purpose is to enrich their lives and provide camp experiences that are memorable, exciting, fun, empowering, physically safe and medically sound. All programs are FREE of charge and capture the magic of the Adirondacks.

The Parker Foundation for Health & Happiness is pleased to announce that its annual charity event raised $14,000. This entire amount was donated to the Double H Hole in the Woods Ranch, a Serious Fun Camp.
Double H provides specialized programs and year-round support for children and their families dealing with life-threatening illnesses. Its purpose is to enrich their lives and provide camp experiences that are memorable, exciting, fun, empowering, physically safe and medically sound. All programs are FREE of charge and capture the magic of the Adirondacks.
This fundraising activity was done with a mere 3 hours of effort from the Board of Directors and friends of PFHH at Eldorado Country Club in McKinney, Texas.

The Board of the Parker Foundation for Health & Happiness is pleased to announce the 9th Annual Charity Event will be held on April 29 from 12pm to 3pm at Eldorado Country Club in McKinney, Texas.
This is a change of venue from our longtime sponsor Pluckers Wing Bar in Allen, Texas. “We have had an amazing relationship, and continue to, with Pluckers and thank them for everything along the way; however, we have outgrown their facilities due to the tremendous support of our friends and volunteers,” commented Matt Parker, PFHH Board Chair.
This year’s event will also include a number of longtime sponsors such as Alliance Bank and will also introduce two, new Gold Level Sponsors in Franconia Brewery and Eldorado Country Club. The day’s activities are tentatively scheduled to include:

PFHH also announces the appointment of Kevin Morris to the Board of Directors. He was elected unanimously by the current board of directors.
Kevin has spent the past 21 years within the real estate finance industry, which he personally assisted over 1000 families obtain new homes. He currently serves as sales manager over new construction as well as senior lending officer.
Previously, he was Senior Vice President- southwest division for FMC, where he managed over 100 lending officers as well as 20 operations team members through a 7 state territory.
His roots as a leader run deep, and are traced back to his early years where he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout and played varsity football and track both through college. Despite the great success and achievements, he takes the most pride in being recognized as the academic athlete of the year, crediting his hard work ethic and high moral standards to the lessons and teachings from Boy Scouts and team sports.
He has served multiple non-profit organizations over the years including, most recently, two that are directly tied to his greatest passion, his two children. He spent 4 years as fund raising chair for his daughter’s high school theatre department, and has spent 10+ years in fundraising for JDRF in support of his son who is a Type 1 diabetic.
He is recognized as a leader and mentor, and looks forward to continuing to contribute to causes that benefit children as well as providing services that benefit families.

The Parker Foundation for Health & Happiness is pleased to announce that its 3rd Annual Golf Outing raised over $13,000 of which a check for $10,000 after golf related expenses was drafted and donated to the Double H Hole in the Woods Ranch, a Serious Fun Camp. This fundraising activity was done with a mere 2 hours of pre-event effort from the Board of Directors.
PFHH also announces the total amount of funds donated for the 2016 fundraising season was $21,000. This is a significant increase from year’s past. It also signifies what a small group of individuals can do, in a very short amount of time (less than 24 hours of total efforts) to make a difference in the lives of seriously and terminally ill children.
PFHH is proud to have partnered with Double H Hole in the Woods Ranch in Lake Luzerne, New York for nearly 15 years. Throughout this time, PFHH has been able to raise and donate over $125,000 in funds and in-kind gifts to this amazing camp which allows children with serious illnesses a week to “just be a kid” and “raise a little hell.”

The Parker Foundation for Health & Happiness is pleased to announce that its annual charity event raised over $12,000 of which a check for $11,000 after expenses was drafted and donated to the Double H Hole in the Woods Ranch, a Serious Fun Camp. This fundraising activity was done with a mere 3 hours of effort from the Board of Directors and friends of PFHH at Pluckers Wing Bar in Allen, Texas.
PFHH also announces the appointment of four, new board members for the 2016-2017 term. Each of these board members were elected unanimously by the current board of directors. They are: Jon Hays, Peter Ramos, Jennifer Maxwell and Charlotte Ramos.
Jon Hays, Esq. is an 18 year veteran of the US Military where he currently serves as an Information Systems Management Officer for the North Carolina Army National Guard. In this role he manages and provides enterprise level IT services to a 5,000 user unit in both a tactical and garrison environment. In his full time job he is a Storage Engineer with Hewlett Packard Enterprises supporting Data Center Management for a U.S. Government client.
Jon has volunteered his time to numerous organizations over the last 19 years, the Virginia Living Museum, Occoquan Woodbridge Lorton Volunteer Fire Department, Marine Corps League Young Marines Program, and most recently Phi Kappa Tau and the PFHH. Jon has volunteered at 5 Phi Kappa Tau National Community Service Events supporting various Serious Fun Camps.
Peter Ramos has been in the financial services industry for five years, starting his career at Capital One Auto Loans. After which, he transitioned to a relationship banker and was among the top performers nationwide for BBVA Compass Bank. Specializing in relationship banking, Peter offers customized financial solutions, currently as a relationship banker at BB&T, that best fit the need of the individual customer. Peter is an active supporter of numerous non-profit organizations in the McKinney and North Dallas areas.
Jennifer Maxwell currently serves as an officer of Alliance Bank within its residential lending department and has accumulated 15 years’ experience in the sales and financial industries.
She is an active member of her community volunteering with the Chamber of Commerce and proud member of the Leadership Rockwall Class of 2016. As a regular volunteer, she helps raise funds/awareness for many of her passions such as Women in Need, Children's Advocacy Center, Relay for Life, Helping Hands, and serves as a mentor within the Rockwall school district and is member of Board of Directors for the Rockwall Boys & Girls Club.
Charlotte Ramos has been working with children since she was a young girl. In May 2016, she will be conferred a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University at Commerce. After graduation, Charlotte will be an elementary school teacher in McKinney, Texas. She will focus on special education and English as a second language.
